Lower Nyland Farm, Near Gillingham, North Dorset

The Hinks family have been farming at Lower Nyland since 1931 and know a thing or two about producing top quality grass fed lamb.
With 350 acres of lush, open paddocks, the Hinks’s rears their lamb from Texel and Suffolk cross ewes and Texel and Charollais rams that thrive on grass alone. The lambs spend all their time grazing outside, munching on the clover-rich grass at Lower Nyland that gives the meat a really rich, succulent taste.
The lamb is then hung for a week so it’s tender and full of flavour before being prepared by hand at the Blackmore Vale Butchery.
